Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources
The Statler College admits transfer students on a case-by-case basis depending on space availability. While many factors are used in the evaluation process, transfer students must meet the following requirements.
Engineering Technology
- 2.0 college GPA
All Other Engineering Majors
Students with 24+ transfer hours
- 2.75 college GPA
- SAT 540, ACT 22 or 45 ALEKS score
- departmental approval
Students with fewer than 24 credit hours
- 2.25 college GPA

Elementary Education
- 2.5 overall GPA
John Chambers College of Business and Economics
Direct admission into the John Chambers College of Business and Economics requires:- must have a 2.25 overall college GPA and eligible to take Math 124 or higher
College of Creative Arts and Media
An overall 2.00 GPA is required for admission into this college. Music majors must audition before they can be considered for admission. An audition may be required for Theatre majors, and transfer credit in art is dependent on an evaluation of a portfolio of artwork.

School of Nursing
Students are admitted into this program to complete entrance requirements for this major. When students are ready to apply to Nursing, they must complete a separate application. Admission to this program is competitive, and admission to the pre-program does not guarantee admission into the major.

Dental Hygiene
Students are admitted into the Dental Hygiene Program through a competitive process in which all applications are reviewed by the Dental Hygiene Admissions Committee. All applicants, including current college students, must apply to the Dental Hygiene Program and submit the required documentation to be considered. Admission to the program is limited by class size and successful completion of college courses does not guarantee admission. University Honors College
Transfer students who have earned fewer than 20 credit hours as a full-time student and have maintained a 3.7 cumulative GPA without an I or W on their transcript may submit an application for membership to the Honors College.
Freshmen transfer students with 20-34 credit hours and a 3.7 cumulative GPA who are interested in joining the Honors College must request an appointment with Associate Dean Damien Clement.
