Fee Waiver Instructions
Did you receive a fee waiver code from WVU? If you're a domestic student (U.S. citizen or dual citizen, U.S. permanent resident or person granted asylum in the U.S.), follow these instructions to enter the code on your WVU Application or the Common Application.WVU Application
Domestic first-time freshmen and transfer applicants: Enter your fee waiver code in the final section of the WVU Undergraduate Application (shown in the screenshot below).
Select “Yes” when asked for a fee waiver code. Then enter the code and select "Save and Review Application."
The Common Application
Domestic first-time freshman applicants: You may also apply using the Common Application. Enter your fee waiver code in the Questions section under General, which is at the start of the Questions section for each college (shown in the screenshot below).
Select the type of school-specific fee waiver, and then to enter the actual code.
