Freshman Requirements

Applicants with a converted GPA of at least 2.5/4.0 can be admitted. If you were admitted based on in progress results from your local school, your final GPA will be updated upon providing the final required documents. Some majors have higher GPA requirements for direct entry.

Transfer Requirements

Applicants with a converted GPA of at least 2.0/4.0 can be admitted. WVU will calculate a combined GPA if you attended multiple institutions. If you were admitted based on in progress results, your final GPA will be updated upon providing the final required documents. Some majors have higher GPA requirements and/or course requirements for direct entry.
