Favorite Thing About WVU

My favorite part about WVU (other than football and basketball) is definitely the access to resources that it offers to both our students and citizens. As the flagship university of the state of West Virginia, WVU offers a world class education AND a healthcare system all across the state and region.

Favorite Thing About Your Job

I enjoy talking to students and families about the college application process! This is a huge step for not only the students, but their families too. My favorite part of this job is getting to help students break the feeling that college isn’t attainable for them. With a very high number of students qualifying for institutional merit-based scholarships as well as federal and state aid, the opportunities are truly endless!

Advice for Students

The application/enrollment process can be intimidating if this is you or your family’s first time going through it. That said, it only feels that way. As you progress from an applicant, to an admit and then to attending New Student Orientation (NSO) and becoming a full-fledged Mountaineer, you will have help and guidance every step of the way.

When You're Not Working You're

When not working I am most likely at home with my wife and daughter. I also enjoy watching WVU Athletics throughout the season with a special place in my heart for football and basketball. I also try to attend a game every now and then when the time allows for it. I occasionally find time to play Playstation when I have a moment to relax. Additionally, I am a huge fan of the sport of Motocross (aka dirt bikes). I rode them all the time growing up as a hobby.
