Favorite Thing About WVU
Everything! If I had to pick just one, it would be the atmosphere. You really can’t explain what it’s like when a bunch of Mountaineer fans get together. No matter where you go, if you meet someone who has ties to WVU, there’s an instant connection and you can talk to them like you’ve been friends for years.
Favorite Thing About Your Job
Being able to go out and encourage students to consider enrolling at my alma mater. WVU provided me with the best years of my life, and I get to share those experiences with students. I enjoy sharing with prospective students and their families what Mountaineer pride is all about. Also – being able to travel in Pennsylvania is exciting!
Advice for Students
Make sure you visit the school. I think this is the most important step in the selection process. It’s important to gather information about the school from college fairs or the internet, but a visit puts you in the center of the experience. You’re able to see if it’s a place where you fit in.
When You're Not Working You're
Spending time with family and friends, reading and getting outdoors as much as possible.
