Enhancing cybersecurity

Yanfang Ye

Dr. Ye has been awarded more than $237,000 in funding from the National Science Foundation to enhance security for machine learning mechanisms.

Her project will investigate ways to make machine learning techniques, such as classification and clustering mechanisms, robust against intelligent evasion attacks that cause the model to misclassify a sample to evade detection.
