Living on campus is the best way to participate in campus life. Our residence halls are safe neighborhoods containing hundreds of potential friends.
WVU offers coed and single-gender housing options, and you can choose between larger and small settings. The most recent addition is our innovative residential college experience, which allows freshmen and upperclassmen to live in residence halls where they benefit from in-depth academic guidance and opportunities for special social and cultural activities.
Here are some of the features of residence hall life at WVU:
Once you have been admitted to WVU and have paid the academic deposit, a housing packet with an application/contract will automatically be mailed to you. Please allow two to three weeks from the time you pay your academic deposit for the housing packet to arrive.
Forget about dorm doldrums at other colleges and universities. WVU's innovative residential colleges are taking the student life experience to a whole new level. Imagine residence halls where everyone knows your name, you get to go on weekend trips to New York and Washington, DC, and one of your favorite professors is your neighbor.
