Every Day.

Being a Mountaineer is about more than going to class and celebrating big wins. It’s about the unexpected connections, favorite hangouts, tiny adventures, and personal discoveries.

Recreation

What kind of Mountaineers would we be if we didn't have a massive climbing wall? Or an Outdoor Recreation Center, complete with low-cost gear rentals? Campus Recreation has plenty of opportunities to get involved and stay active with your friends and classmates.

Life at WVU

Morgantown

What makes Morgantown so special? Friendly people, a strong relationship between WVU and the City, a beautiful location, and a mix of people from around the world.

Safety

Our campus is generally very safe, and WVU Police officers patrol 24/7 to make sure it stays that way. Residence halls are staffed around the clock. No one can enter a residence hall after midnight without a valid resident identification card.

When emergencies do arise, WVU Alert messages quickly notify the community. You also can download LiveSafe for an on-the-go connection with authorities and your family and friends.
