You are considered a freshman student if you have completed a high school diploma or GED and have not completed any post-secondary work at an accredited institution since graduating or obtaining your GED.
You are considered a transfer student if you have completed any post-secondary (after high school) work at an accredited college/institution.
To be considered for transfer admission we must receive all documents by August 1 for fall admission and by December 16 for spring admission. We recommend you apply as early as possible.
You have already attained an undergraduate degree and are applying for a graduate degree program.

Health Sciences Center Students
You are a student that would like to be admitted to one of the undergraduate programs at the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center. These programs are Dental Hygiene, Exercise Physiology, Immunology & Medical Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy.
You have left the University for at least one complete semester (excluding summer terms) and would like to return.
