WVU Visitors Center

The WVU Visitors Center combines cutting-edge technology with traditional West Virginia hospitality. Your tour will begin with an admissions presentation and then our expert student guides will give you a walking/driving tour of the campus. If you want to meet a specific department representative or attend a class, please request this during your reservation. (Please note, admissions presentations, department representatives and classes are not available on Saturday.) Tours include a classroom, the Mountainlair Student Union, a residence hall, the Student Recreation Center, and more. Reservations are required. Choosing the right university for you is a big decision. Admitted freshman and transfer students are invited to campus to help make that decision. We can’t wait to welcome you to your new home.

Decide WVU Open House

Junior Preview Days

A Junior Preview Day is a campus visit experience just for high school juniors. Get started on a great future by touring the WVU campus. Meet with representatives from academic departments and student services while enjoying refreshments and giveaways.

College of Creative Arts Comic Book Day

Comic Book Day is a workshop showcasing the many ways contemporary artists make and use the mini-comic format, concluding with a hands-on creation of mini comics. High school students in grades 9-12 are invited to attend. Lunch and supplies will be provided.
