Our location

Morgantown, W.Va., is located about 70 miles south of Pittsburgh, Pa., at the intersection of Interstates 68 and 79. We’re a 3.5-hour drive from Washington, D.C., and Cleveland, Ohio, and a 6-hour drive from New York City.

Night-Before Activities

Dine with WVU and Tour the Night Before

Your introduction to campus begins on Friday if you preregistered for Dine with WVU (4-6:30 p.m. at Cafe Evansdale) or Tour the Night Before (check in at 4:15 p.m. at the WVU Visitors Center). These were optional activities you could select when signing up for Decide WVU. Check your Decide WVU confirmation email for directions.

WVU Baseball vs. Texas Tech (April 12)

Attending the April 13 Decide WVU Day? You have the option of watching WVU Baseball face off against Texas Tech on Friday (April 12) at 6:30 p.m. at Monongalia County Ballpark. Decide WVU Day participants can reserve a reduced-price $5 ticket at with promo code OPENHOUSE before the game.

First, you’ll need to find the check-in location for your major.  Please double-check your location. The list was updated March 14 to include locations for “pre-” majors.  Choose your major (or “Undecided/Undeclared”) in the drop-down menu to learn more about where to park and where to check-in.

The Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and buses will run 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Check the Decide WVU program you receive at Check-in for bus stop info and a route map. When planning your travel between areas of campus, allow about 30 minutes to give yourself plenty of time.

Both services are free for Decide WVU Day attendees.
