Academic Common Market

You can study a specialized field at WVU while paying in-state tuition rates through the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) Academic Common Market.

The Academic Common Market is a tuition-savings program for college students who want to pursue degrees that are not offered at any institution in their home state. WVU offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees for residents in participating SREB states.

How to Apply

  1. You must be a certified legal resident of one of the SREB’s member states.
  2. You must meet admissions requirements and be accepted into an approved ACM major/program at WVU eligible for residents of your home state.
  3. You must be certified by your home state’s designated agency by completing and submitting the state’s Academic Common Market certification application.
