Favorite Thing About WVU
I love West Virginia University! As an alumna, I’ve experienced first-hand what it means to be a Mountaineer and all the opportunities that are available to students. WVU provided several wonderful opportunities for me as a student and now as an employee. There is something for everyone, no matter your skills or interests. I’m lucky to be a part of the University in this time of excitement and growth. West Virginia University has always been a home away from home for me.
Favorite Thing About Your Job
It is truly rewarding to be able to work with the caliber of students that want to attend West Virginia University. I really enjoy being able to guide and counsel students and their families through the college search and admission process. It is exciting for me to assist in the transition to college, especially the excitement of becoming a Mountaineer!
Advice for Students
Be proactive. Ask questions, lots of them, and do your homework. Your regional recruiter is a great resource for you to find out more about the University and the admissions process. There are also other great resources, like professors, current students, alumni, counselors, etc. By gaining all the knowledge you can and visiting campuses, you will be able you to make a well-informed decision on which university is going to be the best fit for you.
When You're Not Working You're
I love cooking and entertaining family and friends. When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m going to baseball games, spending time at the river and cheering on all the Mountaineer teams I can!
