The best way to find out if a school is for you is to visit – and we’re sure that after visiting with us you’ll be impressed with what WVU has to offer and discover that WVU is for you.
You can visit WVU in three ways – through our Visitors Resource Center (VRC) or at one of our Open Houses or Mountaineer Visitation Days (MVD).
Tours occur twice a day, six days a week (with some exceptions). Register for a VRC visit.
WVU hosts two Open Houses each year. One is held in the fall and the other in the spring. During an Open House, students will take a tour of campus and meet with various representatives from across campus. For more information or to register online, visit the Open House page.
At the MVD you will enjoy a tour, the chance to learn about admissions, financial aid and scholarships, housing, student organizations, academic programs, and many other areas.
You will also have the chance to eat lunch in one of our dining facilities. We can also review your admission application during your visit. Other optional activities include visitng with specific academic departments.
The University holds 8 of these invitation-only events annually. For more information about these events, visit the MVD page.
A diverse and talented group of students takes you on their personal journey of what it’s like to be a WVU student.
