Research on alternative fuels and emissions is Chet’s academic passion in the
mechanical engineering program.
Outside the lab, his interest turns to a different mode of transportation – cycling. He competes in mountain bike races throughout the East Coast as a member of the
WVU Cycling Team.
Chet, a native of Malaysia, is one of the hundreds of international students who call WVU home. After graduating with a master’s degree in August 2009, he hopes to remain in the US and work as a mechanical engineer.
Would you recommend WVU to other international students?
Yes, because people here are nice and friendly, and they could also gain a lot of cultural experiences.
What is your favorite place on campus?
Creative Arts Center, because you can enjoy listening to free music plays.
