A Message to ALL High School Guidance Counselors

The Higher Education Policy Commission has advised that in order to prepare our high school students with a stronger science background, technical conceptual science courses do not meet the college lab science admission requirement. To provide students and Guidance Counselors the necessary time to adjust to these recommendations, WVU has decided to phase in this new advisory:

• For fall 2010 admission, we will not accept Conceptual and Technical courses as labs. This will affect current juniors.

If you have any additional questions, please contact Marilyn Potts, Interim Director of Admissions, at 304-293-2124 ext. 1511.
