WVU International House

WVU’s International House, a multicultural community for undergraduate students from around the world, opened its doors for the fall 2005 semester.

Conveniently located near the Downtown Campus, the facility is within easy walking distance from major classroom buildings and the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system.

International House has a dormitory-style set-up with two or three people per room, a combination of twin and bunk beds and community bathrooms. There is one floor for males and one floor for females, plus a lounge large enough for hall activities.

Like traditional residence halls, the International House has resident assistants (RAs) and many of the same amenities, including a dining area where students can prepare group meals featuring traditional cuisine from their homelands.

Undergraduates interested in living in the International House can apply online. A WVU housing application and deposit are required to complete the application for the International House. The housing application and deposit instructions are found in your admission packet.

The application deadline is April 15. Applicants will be notified by May 15 if they are accepted into the program.
