Holding a job while attending college gives students valuable work experience, as well as some spare cash. There are many opportunities for part-time employment at WVU and in the thriving Morgantown community.

Off-campus Jobs

The Career Services Center’s Job Location and Development Office assists students with individual off-campus employment needs. As part of the Career Services Center, JLD serves as a link for part-time, seasonal, and summer employment. All students may register and utilize the service regardless of financial status. JLD also serves as a clearinghouse for internship information.

Another service offered by JLD is the Summer Jobs Expo held each spring in the Mountainlair. The most recent expo attracted more than 50 representatives from various industries, camps, retailers and public services.
