The 50-foot climbing wall is the heart of WVU's Student Recreation Center

There’s a reason well over two million students have visited our Student Recreation Center—it's one of the best in the country!

 

The modern 177,000 square-foot facility includes:

  • weight/fitness equipment
  • courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton, squash, and racquetball
  • six-lane fitness and leisure pools
  • an elevated jogging track
  • a whirlpool that seats 20
  • an outdoor recreation center offering ski, camping, and other equipment rentals
  • a 50-foot indoor climbing wall
