Steps to Enrollment

You are considered a visiting student if you’re taking classes at West Virginia University and plan to use the credits toward graduation at your home college or university outside the WVU system. To enroll at WVU as a visiting student, please complete the following steps:

  1. Log Into WVU Portal

    Now that you’re admitted, it’s time to get connected. To access the WVU Portal, you need to activate your Login. The WVU Portal connects you to STAR, DegreeWorks, eCampus and your MIX email – all important online programs.

  2. Register for Class

    Once you're logged into WVU Portal, you can access STAR and select your classes.

  3. Pay My Bill

    The date your payment is due depends on the start date of your course.
