Favorite Thing About WVU
Coming from a small town in West Virginia I’ve always loved the family feel this state has. It’s no different here at WVU. We may have a large student body but we are still a tight and thoughtful family. Everyone is here for each other and no one is treated like a stranger. We are all Mountaineers and one WVU.
Favorite Thing About Your Job
Sometimes finding that one
thing you aspire to be can be troublesome to find. Through unique experiences
to become an engineer, I found that I liked helping others find and reach their
passions in life. This position allows me to help incoming students strive for
and attain their goals they set in place for themselves.
Advice for Students
Explore your options and
never rule anything out. Keep an open mind and be patient. It’s important to
begin with the end in mind. Stay on track and aspire to reach your goals;
however, new opportunities arise around every corner and are worth exploring
every chance you get.
When You're Not Working You're
in the virtual world. I absolutely love the diversity of the video game world
and its many stories and adventures. However, I do love to go on my own
adventures, whether it’s biking on the rail trail, zip-lining along the New
River Gorge, white water rafting or geocaching around the countryside.
